Donna Gallant

Donna is originally from Regina,Saskatchewan but has resided in Lehtbridge since 1971. She attended the
University of Lethbridge BFA program from 1976 -1981. She worked at the Bowman Arts Center as Gallery Technician for 17 years and has taught art since 1980 and has taught art to adults, children and special needs since 1981.
She has been exhibitng her art since 1985 including 15 Solo Exhibits & over 50 Group Exhibits throughout Canada. Some of her more accomplished Exhibits include;'SAM REVEALS' (light boxes),'CURRENT' (light boxes),' KEN'S IRISES'(oil paintings),'LADY OF THE DANCE' (digital images), 'FELINE & FEMALE' (a traveling monoprint show), 'RUNNING WATERS' (mixed media), 'SWIMMERS' (mono prints & collage), 'IMAGINARY WOMEN' (a traveling show), & 7 - ' ANNUAL MINIATURE ART SHOWS' (Del Bello Gallery in Toronto).
She was a founding member of The RadishFactory (Artist-run Organization) ,a member of the International Monoprinters Guild, the Southern Alberta Art Gallery, the Oldman River Painters (OOPS), the Group with No Name (life drawing studio), Trap/door, ISA and CARFAC.
Donna has illustrated three books for Lloyd Flaig, designed customers for ADAC, t-shirts for the Lethbridge Synconized Swim Club and the cover for the Judo Nationals.
Donna has worked in printmaking, oil, acrylic and watercolor painting, mixed media, sculpture and most recently digital images.
